IEC Annual Business Meeting 2025

Description

As required by the bylaws of the IEC, CenTex Chapter, I am pleased to invite you to participate in the 2025 Annual Membership Business Meeting. Along with Chapter updates and information, the Contractor Membership will conduct the election of chapter officers and directors to serve on the board for FY2026.

During the annual business meeting the Executive Director will present a state of the association to membership, financial status, membership development, training statistics, networking events and governmental engagement. 

In addition to the State of The Chapter address, the membership will be conducting elections to the Board of Directors. The following is a slate of chapter members nominated to serve on the 2026 Board of Directors.

Also, we are pleased to announce that our upcoming meeting will feature a Special Guest Speaker, Commercial Building Inspections Division Manager Marty Starrett, who will provide a briefing on the changes to the draft 2026 City of Austin Electric Ordinance. 

As the Development Services Department of the City of Austin undertakes the critical task of updating multiple technical codes, including the electrical code, it is essential for our members to stay informed about these developments. We encourage all members to actively participate in this informative session, reinforcing our commitment to collaboration and shared growth within the IEC Central Texas Chapter..
