SUMMARY:Professional Electricians Code Training (PECT)
DESCRIPTION:This Professional Electricians Code Training course (PECT)\, is a refreshed\, exclusive CenTex IEC offering. This 100-HOUR course is an ideal choice for those who have an abundant amount of electrical experience\, but lack the formal in-class training. This technical training program\, aims to provide an alternative path\, for those with four (4) or more years of field electrical experience\, (8\,000 hours plus) to gain the classroom knowledge generally offered in the first two years of a typical electrical apprenticeship program. This program is NOT designed to replace Registered Apprenticeship Training\, but to improve an electrician's skills to keep them competitive and productive in today's market. Each of the Five (5) MODULE style courses are designed to cover a wide range of relative topics within Chapters 1-7 of the 2026 National Electrical Code . These classes are taught by an industry subject matter expert using Mike Holt's industry leading textbooks\, videos and other training tools.
